CATAPULT® Fundamentals Training

You will start each day by logging into the Online Learning Center and the virtual CATAPULT sandbox using the credentials provided by email the Thursday prior to training week. You will watch training tutorial videos in the Online Learning Center daily as outlined in the agenda and you will practice operating CATAPULT by using the virtual CATAPULT sandbox.

You will receive the agenda via email the week prior to the training week.

There are live, virtual Office Hours hosted daily during training week, so that you can ask an ECRS expert any questions you may have had regarding the training videos and CATAPULT software. These Office Hours are in a group setting, so you will hear from other retailers during this live Q&A. You will receive an email each day with the link to join Office Hours virtually.

Office Hours are scheduled daily, Tuesday through Thursday, for one hour in the afternoon. The schedule for Office Hours is provided in your registration confirmation email.

Training takes approximately five hours to complete each day. You may complete training at your own pace, as long as all training materials have been completed before attending Office Hours for live Q&A with an ECRS expert. Note that Office Hours are limited to discussing the daily materials as outlined in the agenda.

Example: For Tuesday’s Office Hours, the group will only discuss training materials covered on Tuesday’s agenda.

You will receive this information on the Thursday prior to training week. Please keep an eye out for an email from training@ecrs.com with the subject “ACTION REQUIRED: Please confirm successful login to the Online Learning Center & Amazon WorkSpace.”

Yes! Since you receive your login credentials the Thursday prior to training week, you are welcome to get a head start on training.

No. There are two separate platforms for this virtual training format. You must log in to the Online Learning Center and the virtual CATAPULT sandbox separately to train.

We recommend that you have two devices for this training. The following setup is highly recommended for the most effective learning experience:

• (1) Computer/Tablet/Phone to access the Online Learning Center, so that you may read training materials and watch webinar tutorials.
• (1) Computer/Laptop to access your virtual CATAPULT sandbox to practice what you learn during the courses.

Amazon WorkSpace (AWS) is used to host the virtual CATAPULT sandbox. This platform allows you to practice operating CATAPULT without compromising your company’s data. You must follow the instructions sent directly from Amazon WorkSpace to set up and log into your virtual CATAPULT sandbox (aka Amazon WorkSpace).

Sometimes, your firewall will block the email sent directly from AWS. Please check your spam folder first. If you cannot find the email in your spam folder, reach out to training@ecrs.com for assistance.

In order to receive your CATAPULT Fundamentals Certificate of Completion, you must complete the following actions during training week:

• Watch all tutorial videos in their entirety
• Attend at least (1) one live Office Hours session and actively participate in Q&A
• Successfully pass the end-of-course knowledge assessment

Your certificate will be available for download after completion.

We recognize that last-minute issues come up that will occasionally prevent you from attending Virtual CATAPULT Fundamentals as planned. If this is your situation, we would appreciate notification as soon as possible, but no later than 2 business days prior to the start of class. If you need to reschedule, we will be happy to move you to the next available class. If you are not able to attend the next available class, we will transfer your registration to an upcoming available class within 90 days. Failure to provide the required notice will result in forfeiture of your $250 registration fees.
