Scanned items can even be automatically associated to the correct supplier PO via CATAPULT's Auto-Default ™ system. You simply scan the items you want to order, or review and accept a suggested order generated through CATAPULT Order Assist™, and CATAPULT intelligently places the items into the correct vendor-specific Purchase Order. This functionality allows you to scan by department or aisle instead of by supplier. From this point, the order can be sent electronically through ECRS Gateway with the click of a button. mobileCAT is much more than a hand held ordering device. Prices can be updated on the mobile terminal and automatically pushed to the network server and all connected POS terminals and back office workstations.
